I’m so happy with how this mural turned out! It was a pleasure creating this for Scott and Lisa Norton at their beautiful home! This project tested me in so many ways. The weather delayed its progress, the rain left thousands of bubbles underneath the paint before it was sealed, and I had to emotionally process the fact that I might have to start the painting over completely. Thankfully, the bubbles dried and disappeared the next day and the mural was sealed sucessfully! 66 hours of work went into this painting, and for the majority of those hours, I was on my hands and knees. I was challenged mentally and especially physically. Some days my legs were so stiff that I would wonder if I could productively make it through the day. While the pain and heat were challenging, my spirit stayed strong because God showed up and met me in every single moment. I love that He never fails me! Life is painful and difficult, with or without a disability, but God promises to meet us in our weaknesses with His power if we actively trust and follow Him. When He calls us out upon the waters, we must keep our eyes on Him!
